Cytochrome b-c1 complex subunit 2, mitochondrial (UQCRC2) is a member of the peptidase M16 family. UQCRC2 is a component of the ubiquinol-cytochrome c reductase complex (complex III), which is a part of the mitochondrial respiratory chain. UQCRC2 is essential for the compilation of the complex.

UQCRC2 Human Recombinant produced in E. coli is a single polypeptide chain containing 460 amino acids (15-453) and having a molecular mass of 49.0 kDa.UQCRC2 is fused to a 21 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
