Tumor Suppressor Candidate 2, also known as TUSC2, is a part of the TUSC2 family. TUSC2 protein functions as a tumor suppressor, inhibiting colony formation, causing G1 arrest and eventually inducing apoptosis in homozygous 3p21.3 120-kb region-deficient cells.
TUSC2 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 133 amino acids (1-110) and having a molecular mass of 14.5 kDa.TUSC2 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
UniProt Protein Function: | TUSC2: May function as a tumor suppressor, inhibiting colony formation, causing G1 arrest and ultimately inducing apoptosis in homozygous 3p21.3 120-kb region-deficient cells. Belongs to the TUSC2 family. |
