RAB17 is a member of the small GTPase superfamily which are found in several intracellular compartments and have a significant regulatory part in membrane trafficking. RAB17 regulates traffic through the apical recycling endosome, which indicates that RAB17 has a role in polarized arrangement in epithelial cells.
RAB17 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 232 amino acids (1-212) and having a molecular mass of 25.6 kDa.The RAB17 is fused to a 20 amino acid His-Tag at N-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
UniProt Protein Function: | RAB17: Might be involved in transcellular transport. Belongs to the small GTPase superfamily. Rab family. |
