Human/Mouse/Rat BMP-2 Recombinant Protein

Bone morphogenetic protein-2 (BMP-2) is one of the transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-beta) superfamily of proteins that regulates bone growth. BMPs are formed as large precursor molecules that are cleaved by proteolytic enzymes. BMP-2 can be present in the active form as a dimer of two identical proteins, or as a heterodimer of two bone morphogenetic proteins that are related.
