Human CXCL12/SDF Recombinant Protein
Stromal Cell-Derived Factor-1 (SDF-1) is a chemokine member of the intercrine family. SDF1 is expressed as five isoforms that differ only in the C terminal tail. The two major forms of SDF1 are identical except for the four amino acids present at the C-terminus of SDF1 beta but not in SDF1 alpha. CXCR4 and CXCR7 receptors are present on the cell surface for SDF1 isoforms to interact with; additionally, they may bind syndecan4. SDF-1 is known to affect lymphopoiesis, patterning and cell number of neural progenitors, and angiogenesis. It also helps myeloid progenitor cells survive. Human CXCL12/SDF Recombinant Protein is a highly pure recombinant protein developed by Assay Genie for use in a range of applications.
