Calreticulin-3 belongs to the calreticulin family, which includes calcium-binding chaperones that are mostly found in the endoplasmic reticulum. The N-terminal globular domain, a proline-rich P-domain forming an elongated arm-like structure, and the C-terminal acidic domain are all components of the protein. Calreticulin-3 may function as a lectin-independent chaperone for specific client proteins such as ADAM3 during spermatogenesis. Familial hypertrophic cardiomyopathy type 19 (CMH19), a hereditary heart disease characterized by ventricular hypertrophy and often asymmetric, is caused by defects in CALR3. Syncope, respiratory distress, syncope, collapse, palpitations, and chest discomfort are all signs of it. Human Calreticulin-3/CALR3 Recombinant Protein is a highly pure recombinant protein developed by Assay Genie for use in a range of applications.
