Description
ACLY/acly/ATP citrate lyase Recombinant Protein
ATP citrate lyase is the most important enzyme in many tissues for synthesizing cytosolic acetyl-CoA. The tetramer of ATP citrate lyase/ACLY is composed of identical subunits with a molecular weight of about 440,000. It promotes the conversion of citrate and CoA to acetyl-CoA and oxaloacetate, as well as the transformation of ATP to ADP and phosphate. Acetyl-CoA is involved in a variety of metabolic processes, including lipogenesis and cholesterol synthesis. ATP citrate-lyase may play a role in the formation of acetylcholine in nerve tissue. Trichothiodystrophy 1, Photosensitive, and Trigonitis are all related to ACLY. Transcription Receptor-mediated HIF Regulation and amino acid metabolism are two linked processes to ATP citrate lyase/ACLY.ACLY/acly/ATP citrate lyase Recombinant Protein is a highly pure recombinant protein developed by Assay Genie for use in a range of applications.
