Tropomyosin Alpha-3 Chain (TPM3) is a Tropomyosin family member. TPM3 is made up of an alpha and a beta chain that form a heterodimer. TPM3 plays a central role in association with the Troponin complex and in the calcium dependent regulation of vertebrate striated muscle contraction. Thyroid papillary carcinoma is caused by defects in TPM3. The TPM3 gene is mutated in autosomal dominant nemaline myopathy, and oncogenes generated by chromosomal translocations involving this location are linked to cancer. Tropomyosin TPM3 Recombinant Protein is a highly pure recombinant protein developed by Assay Genie for use in a range of applications.
Recombinant Human Tropomyosin alpha-3 Chain is produced by our E.coli expression system and the target gene encoding Met1-Met248 is expressed.
