![]() | IHC image of PACO60444 diluted at 1:400 and staining in paraffin-embedded human cervical cancer performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a biotinylated secondary antibody and visualized using an HRP conjugated SP system. |
Background: | Extracellular matrix protein that seems to be a ligand for ITGA8:ITGB1, ITGAV:ITGB1 and ITGA4:ITGB1 (By similarity). Involved in neurite outgrowth and cell migration in hippocampal explants (By similarity). During endochondral bone formation, inhibits proliferation and differentiation of proteoblasts mediated by canonical WNT signaling (By similarity). In tumors, stimulates angiogenesis by elongation, migration and sprouting of endothelial cells. Expressed in most mammary tumors, may facilitate tumorigenesis by supporting the migratory behavior of breast cancer cells. |
Synonyms: | Tenascin-N (TN-N) (Tenascin-W) (TN-W), TNN, TNW |
