Source: | Escherichia Coli |
Physical Appearance: | Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder. |
Formulation: | Lyophilized from a 0.2m filtered concentrated solution in 20mM PB, pH7.4 and 300mM NaCl. |
Solubility: | It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized CTACK in sterile 18M?-cm H2O not less than 100g/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions. |
Stability: | Lyophilized CTACK although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution CTACK should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles. |
Purity: | Greater than 98.0% as determined by:(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.(b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE. |

Biological Activity: | The biological activity determined by a chemotaxis bioassay using human peripheral blood lymphocytes is in a concentration range of 10-100 ng/ml. |
CTACK is a chemotactic factor that attracts skin-associated memory T-lymphocytes. CTACK is involved in mediating homing of lymphocytes to cutaneous sites. CTACK Binds to CCR10.
CTACK Mouse Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 95 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 10.9kDa. The CTACK is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
UniProt Protein Function: | CCL27: Chemotactic factor that attracts skin-associated memory T-lymphocytes. May play a role in mediating homing of lymphocytes to cutaneous sites. May play a role in cell migration during embryogenesis. Nuclear forms may facilitate cellular migration by inducing cytoskeletal relaxation. Binds to CCR10. Belongs to the intercrine beta (chemokine CC) family. |
