Thimet oligopeptidase, a homologue of the CD13 antigen, has been identified in human myeloid leukaemia cells and is considered a potential target for antibody-based therapies. THOP1 is a kininase that uses zinc as a cofactor. Cytosolic peptides are broken down by THOP1, making them unavailable to antigen-presenting cells. Infantile spasms and mental retardation X-linked type 3 are two examples of THOP1-related disorders. THOP1/Thimet oligopeptidase is involved in clathrin-derived vesicle budding and Vesicle-mediated transport. Human THOP1 Recombinant Protein is a highly pure recombinant protein developed by Assay Genie for use in a range of applications.
Recombinant Human Thimet Oligopeptidase is produced by our E.coli expression system and the target gene encoding Lys2-Cys689 is expressed with a 6His tag at the C-terminus.
