SerpinPeptidase Inhibitor, Clade B Member 3, also known as SERPINB3 is a papain-likecysteine protease inhibitor which modulates the host immune response versus tumorcells. SERPINB3 is a protein coding gene which acts as an inhibitor of UV-inducedapoptosis by suppressing the activity of c-Jun NH(2)-terminal kinase (JNK1).
