RAB18 belongs to a family of Ras-related small GTPase which is lipid-anchored to the cytoplasmic side of the cell membrane. RAB18 takes part in apical recycling, endocytosis and protein transport between early endosomes and the plasma membrane.
RAB18 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 221 amino acids (1-206) and having a molecular mass of 24.5 kDa.RAB18 is fused to a 15 amino acid T7-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
