Prolyl Endopeptidase , also known as PREP is a cytosolic prolylendopeptidase which cleaves peptide bonds on the C-terminal side of prolyl residueswithin peptides which are up to about 30 a.a long. In addition, Prolyl endopeptidaseshave been shown to be implicated in the maturation and degradation of peptidehormones and neuropeptides.
PREP Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single,non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 733 amino acids (1-710 a.a) andhaving a molecular mass of 83.1kDa.PREP is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus& purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
