PIH1 domain-containing protein 1 (PIH1D1) is a member of the PIH1family. PIH1D1 is a phylogenetically conserved protein vital for efficientprocessing of pre-rRNA through its association along with a class of smallnucleolar RNAs (snoRNAs) during ribosomal biogenesis. SnoRNAs are linked inribonucleoprotein particles localized to the nucleolus. PIH1D1 may also act asa novel modulator of apoptosis pathway.

PIH1D1 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single,non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 313 amino acids (1-290a.a) andhaving a molecular mass of 34.8kDa. PIH1D1 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus& purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
