N-6 Adenine-Specific DNA Methyltransferase 1, also known as N6AMT1 ispart of the methyltransferase family. N6AMT1 is implicated in the methylationof release factor I� during translationtermination. In addition, N6AMT1 is involved in converting the arsenicmetabolite monomethylarsonous acid to the less toxic dimethylarsonic acid.�
N6AMT1 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single,non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 237 amino acids (1-214 a.a) andhaving a molecular mass of 25.3kDa.N6AMT1 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus& purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

May be involved in the conversion of monomethylarsonous acid (3+) into the less toxic dimethylarsonic acid.
