Human ITPase/ITPA Recombinant Protein
ITPA belongs to the HAM1 NTPase protein family and functions as a homodimer in the cytoplasm. Defects in ITPA can lead to disorders such as inosine triphosphatase deficiency and epileptic encephalopathy by causing ITP to accumulate in red blood cells. Pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics, the thiopurine pathway, and purine metabolism are all ITPA-related pathways.
