Interleukin-8 (IL-8) is a neutrophil-specific CXC chemokine. It is one of the first cytokines produced by a variety of cells, such as T cells, endothelial cells and fibroblasts, in response to an inflammatory stimulus and works by luring neutrophils; T-cells and basophils to the site of inflammation. Elevated interleukin-8 levels are associated with the onset of a variety of diseases. Human IL-8/CXCL8 Recombinant Protein is a highly pure recombinant protein developed by Assay Genie for use in a range of applications.
Recombinant Human Interleukin-8 is produced by our E.coli expression system and the target gene encoding Ser28-Ser99 is expressed.
