Granoclin (GCA) is a cytoplasmic granule membrane protein with four EF-hand domains. Calcium-binding protein GCA is abundant in human neutrophils. GCA is widely expressed in bone marrow and can be found in neutrophils and macrophages. Calcium-binding protein GCA works with SRI and LCP1 to promote neutrophil adhesion to fibronectin. GCA also may play a role in the formation of focal adhesions. Human Grancalcin/GCA Recombinant Protein is a highly pure recombinant protein developed by Assay Genie for use in a range of applications.
