GAGE12Fis a member of the GAGE multigene family expressed in a large range of tumorswhereas in normal tissues, his expression is restricted to germ cells. Thesegenes are organized in clustered repeats, and have a high degree of forecasted sequenceidentity, however differ by scattered single nucleotide substitution. Theirsequences contain either the antigenic peptide YYWPRPRRY or YRPRPRRY which isrecognized by cytotoxic T-cells.
