Human G-CSF/CSF3 Recombinant Protein
Granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) is a 20kD glycoprotein with internal disulfide bonds. It promotes the survival, proliferation, and differentiation of neutrophil precursor cells, as well as function activation of mature blood neutrophils. G-CSF is a colony-stimulating factor that is most effective at promoting terminal differentiation of leukemic myeloid cell lines' granulocytes and macrophages. Bacterial endotoxins, TNF, Interleukin-1, and GM-CSF can all induce the synthesis of G-CSF. Prostaglandin E2 inhibits G-CSF production. Interleukin-17 activates secretion of G-CSF in epithelial, endothelial, and fibroblastic cells.
