Fibroblast Growth Factor 12 (FGF-12) is a member of the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family. FGF-12 is believed to be involved in the development and function of the nervous system. FGF-12 has no signal sequence at the N terminus, but it contains clusters of basic residues that have been shown to function as a nuclear localization signal. When FGF-12 was transfected into human cells, it accumulated in the nucleus but was not secreted. The precise role of FGF-12 has yet to be determined. Two alternative splicing variants of FGF-12 have been described. Human FGF2/FGF12 Recombinant Protein is a highly pure recombinant protein developed by Assay Genie for use in a range of applications.
Immobilized Human FGF-12 at 2ug/ml(100 ?l/well) can bind Human FGFR3-Fc(Cat: PKSH033678). The ED50 of Human FGF-12 is 1.27 ug/ml .
