Fibroblast growth factor 7 (FGF7) is a heparin-binding growth factor that is predominately found in epithelial cells and belongs to the family of secreted proteins. The fibroblast growth factor proteins (FGF) belong to a large family of mitogenic and cell survival proteins that are involved in a wide range of biological processes including embryonic development, cell growth, morphogenesis, tissue repair, tumor progression and invasion. FGF7 is a potent epidermal-specific mitogen; its mitogenic activity is primarily seen in keratinocytes but not in fibroblasts or endothelial cells. It's feasible that a major paracrine effector of epithelial cell proliferation is taking place. Human FGF-7/KGF Recombinant Protein is a highly pure recombinant protein developed by Assay Genie for use in a range of applications.
Immobilized Human KGF at 2µg/ml(100 ?l/well) can bind Human FGF R3-Fc(Cat: PKSH033678). The ED50 of Human KGF is 0.788 ug/ml .
