FARSB, also known as Phenylalanyl-TRNASynthetase Beta is a member of the phenylalanyl-tRNA synthetase betasubunit family. FARSB is composed tetramer of two alpha and two beta subunits.In the presence of ATP, this tetramer is accountable for attaching L-phenylalanineto the terminal adenosine of the appropriate tRNA.
FARSB Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 612 amino acids (1-589 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 68.5kDa.FARSB is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
