The PDIA4 protein is a member of the disulfide isomerase (PDI) family of ER proteins that catalyses protein folding and thiol-disulfide exchange reactions. The PDEIA4 protein contains an N-terminal ER-signal sequence, three thioredoxin (TRX) domains, two TRX-like domains, and a C-terminal ER-retention sequence. Cyclophilin B binds to this protein and increases the rate of intermolecular disulfide bonding and antibody synthesis in immunoglobulins.
