Eukaryotic translation initiation factor 4E is a 217-amino-acid protein in the eukaryotic translation initiation factor 4E family. eIF4F is a multi-subunit complex, the composition of which varies with external and internal environmental conditions. EIF4F is made up of at least EIF4A, EIF4E, and EIF4G1/EIF4G3. According to reports, EIF4E also interacts with other partners. It binds the 7-methylguanosine-containing mRNA cap during an early stage in protein synthesis and helps ribosome binding by promoting the unshuffling of mRNAs' secondary structures. Human EIF4E Recombinant Protein is a highly pure recombinant protein developed by Assay Genie for use in a range of applications.
Recombinant Human Eukaryotic Translation Initiation Factor 4E is produced by our E.coli expression system and the target gene encoding Met1-Val217 is expressed.
