DPY30 is implicated in the methylation of histone H3 at Lys-4, mainly trimethylation. Histone H3 Lys-4 methylation symbolize a specific tag for epigenetictranscriptional activation. DPY30 takes part in histone H3 acetylation. In ateratocarcinoma cell, DPY30 plays a critical role in retinoicacid-induced differentiation along the neural lineage, regulating geneinduction and H3 Lys-4 methylation at key developmental loci. DPY30 also playsan indirect or direct part in endosomal transport.

DPY30 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single,non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 122 amino acids (1-99 a.a) andhaving a molecular mass of 13.6 kDa.DPY30 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus& purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
