Human CRYAA Recombinant Protein
Alpha-crystallinA chain/CRYAA is a heat shock protein (HSP20) family member that acts as a molecular chaperone. Microcornea syndrome and Cataract are two examples of diseases linked to CRYAA. The control of deltaF508 CFTR degradation in CF is regulated by the alpha-crystallinA chain/CRYAA pathway.
