COX4NB is a member of the UPF0172 (NOC4) family and is located on chromosome 16, next to the COX4 gene. The COX4NB is expressed in high levels in the pancreas, moderate levels in the heart, skeletal muscle, and placenta and low levels in the liver, lung, kidney and brain.

COX4NB Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 230 amino acids (1-210) and having a molecular mass of 25.9 kDa.The COX4NB is fused to a 20 amino acid His-Tag at N-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
