CMRF35-like molecule 2 precursor (CD300E) is a member of the CD300 family. CD300E is a 205 amino acid single-pass type I membrane protein which contains one Ig-like V-type (immunoglobulin-like) domain. While interacting with DAP12, CD300E probably performs as an activating receptor. CD300E is present on the surface of mature hematopoietic cells of the monocyte & myeloid lineages.
CD300E Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 179 amino acids (18-173 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 19.9kDa.CD300E is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
UniProt Protein Function: | CD300E: Probably acts as an activating receptor. Belongs to the CD300 family. |
UniProt Protein Details: | Protein type:Receptor, misc.; Membrane protein, integral Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 17q25.1 Cellular Component: plasma membrane Biological Process: innate immune response; regulation of immune response |
NCBI Summary: | This gene encodes a member of the CD300 glycoprotein family of cell surface proteins expressed on myeloid cells. The protein interacts with the TYRO protein tyrosine kinase-binding protein and is thought to act as an activating receptor. [provided by RefSeq, Nov 2012] |
