Human ADAMTS9 ELISA Kit
ADAMTS9 (ADAM Metallopeptidase With Thrombospondin Type 1 Motif 9) is a Protein Coding gene. ADAMTS9 is located on the long (q) arm of chromosome 1 at position 21.3. The protein encoded by ADAMTS9 is a metallopeptidase that belongs to the ADAMTS (a disintegrin and metalloproteinase with thrombospondin motifs) family. The protein is involved in the processing of aggrecan, a major proteoglycan in cartilage. Mutations in ADAMTS9 have been associated with idiopathic adolescent osteoporosis.
