Human 14-3-3 epsilon/YWHAE Recombinant Protein

YWHAE; also known as 14-3-3 epsilon; mediate signal transduction by binding to phosphoserine-containing proteins. YWHAE is a member of the 14-3-3 proteins family. The 14-3-3 proteins are a family of conserved proteins that play an important role in a number of cellular activities, such as metabolism and protein trafficking. They are involved in numerous vital cellular processes, including apoptosis and cell cycle control. In contrast, 14-3-3 proteins are mostly found in the synaptic and neuronal cytoplasm; seven forms have been discovered in humans. The adaptor proteins that bind to phosphoserine-containing motifs were first discovered in this family. It has been shown that 14-3-3 proteins have a broad range of biological significance. YWHAE protein is present in both plants and animals, and it has a 100% identity with the mouse ortholog. YWHAE interacts with CDC25 phosphatases; RAF1 and IRS1 proteins; suggesting a range of biochemical processes including cell division and insulin sensitivity regulation. It has also been linked to the development of small cell lung cancer. YWHAE is implicated in the regulation of a large spectrum of both general and specialized signaling pathways. Phosphoserine and phosphothreonine motifs are recognized by the YWHAE protein, which binds to a wide range of partners. The binding partner's activity is generally altered as a result of this Binding. Human 14-3-3 epsilon/YWHAE Recombinant Protein is a highly pure recombinant protein developed by Assay Genie for use in a range of applications.
