![]() | Western Blot. Positive WB detected in: K562 whole cell lysate, HepG2 whole cell lysate. All lanes: GATB antibody at 3.4µg/ml. Secondary. Goat polyclonal to rabbit IgG at 1/50000 dilution. Predicted band size: 62 kDa. Observed band size: 62 kDa. |
![]() | Immunofluorescence staining of HepG2 cells with PACO59836 at 1:100, counter-stained with DAPI. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde, permeabilized using 0.2% Triton X-100 and blocked in 10% normal Goat Serum. The cells were then incubated with the antibody overnight at 4°C. The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor 488-congugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L). |
![]() | IHC image of PACO59836 diluted at 1:300 and staining in paraffin-embedded human liver tissue performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a biotinylated secondary antibody and visualized using an HRP conjugated SP system. |
Background: | Allows the formation of correctly charged Gln-tRNA(Gln) through the transamidation of misacylated Glu-tRNA(Gln) in the mitochondria. The reaction takes place in the presence of glutamine and ATP through an activated gamma-phospho-Glu-tRNA(Gln). |
Synonyms: | Glutamyl-tRNA(Gln) amidotransferase subunit B, mitochondrial (Glu-AdT subunit B) (EC 6.3.5) (Cytochrome c oxidase assembly factor PET112 homolog), GATB, PET112 PET112L |
UniProt Protein Function: | PET112L: Allows the formation of correctly charged Gln-tRNA(Gln) through the transamidation of misacylated Glu-tRNA(Gln) in the mitochondria. The reaction takes place in the presence of glutamine and ATP through an activated gamma-phospho-Glu- tRNA(Gln). Belongs to the GatB/GatE family. GatB subfamily.Protein type: Translation; Mitochondrial; Ligase; EC 6.3.5.-; RNA-bindingChromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 4q31.3Cellular Component: mitochondrionMolecular Function: glutaminyl-tRNA synthase (glutamine-hydrolyzing) activity; translation factor activity, nucleic acid bindingBiological Process: mitochondrial translation; translation |
