Is expressed in central nervous system; egg cylinder; lung; and retina. Used to study Danon disease. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in Danon disease and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Orthologous to human LAMP2 (lysosomal associated membrane protein 2).
