Positively regulates the genes under the control of corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH) and CRH II promoters. Interacts with PQBP1. Expressed specifically in the neuroectodermal cell lineage. Belongs to the POU transcription factor family. Class- 3 subfamily. 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative initiation.
